Madhuri Dixit held prayer meeting for her late mother, Snehlata Dixit

On Friday, Madhuri Dixit organized a prayer gathering in Mumbai in memory of her late mother Snehlata Dixit. Ryan, her son, and her husband, Dr. Shriram Nene, were there by her side. Several businesspeople came to show their support for the actor’s mother, both those who had worked with her and those who had not.

Arriving at the location were Vidya Balan, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Jackie Shroff, her longstanding co-star, and the directors of her classic movies Ram Lakhan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Subhash Ghai and Sooraj Barjatya.

The performer, her spouse Shriram, and their kid Ryan were all wearing white clothing. Before and after entering the room for the prayer meeting, they all met the other mourners and posed for photographs with the media. Arin, her older son, is presently enrolled in a US institution.

Riteish Deshmukh, Maniesh Paul, Johnny Lever, and Jaaved Jaaferi were among the actors who showed up with their spouses, producers Siddharth Roy Kapur and Vidya, to pay their respects and visit with the grieving family. Rapper Raja Kumari, legendary actor Bindu, producers Boney Kapoor and Ramesh Taurani, and others were spotted there.

On March 11, Snehlata Dixit perished. 90 years old. “Our beloved Aai (mother), Snehalata, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones.” said a statement from Madhuri and Shriram Nene on Saturday. The actor has a senior brother and two senior sisters. At the age of 91, her father Shankar Dixit passed away in 2013.

Madhuri wrote a touching message for her mother on Monday along with a picture of the two of them together at home. “Woke up this morning to find Aai’s room empty. It feels surreal. She taught us to embrace and celebrate life. She gave so much to so many people. We will miss her dearly but she will live on in our memories. Her wit, positivity and grace were infectious. We will celebrate her life together through our memories. Om shanti om.”

Last seen in the Maja Ma movie on Amazon Video. Anand Tiwari, who also had her OTT debut with the Netflix drama series The Fame Game, which was produced by Karan Johar, directed the family drama that was launched last year.
