Kate Middleton explains that Prince Louis had a mature reaction to Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

The Princess of Wales, who was with husband Prince William outside Windsor Castle to meet well-wishers, informed one admirer that her children were saddened by the news of the Queen’s death.

According to one spectator, Kate told the youngsters in the crown, “Louis said at least Grannie is with great grandpa now.”

Kate was stated to be “welling up” as she spoke those remarks.

Buckingham Palace issued an official statement on Thursday, September 8, announcing the monarch’s death.

“The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow,” read the statement.
