Fans wanting to see Bethenny Frankel on Bravo’s upcoming “RHONY” spinoff have a message from Dorinda Medley. During an exclusive interview with Page Six at BravoCon 2022, Medley, 57, revealed that “no one is convincing Bethenny, not even me.”

“Bethenny is a powerful female. Bethenny is a rock,” she continued, describing her close friend. “That entrepreneur is a badass. She takes her own decisions and follows them through.

The 51-year-old Frankel stated in April that she was approached about joining the cast of “Real Housewives of New York City: Legacy,” but she decided not to take the job at the time.

She joked that she might be tempted with the proper compensation on her “Just B with Bethenny” podcast, “There’s a number, but I don’t think you can afford it.”

Frankel continued, “From a commercial perspective, [it’s] probably smarter for them to just keep combining the ingredients that they currently have on the shelf: the folks that’ll do it for so cheap because they’ll do it for almost nothing for the relevancy and the thrill.

“Housewives” executive In March, Andy Cohen provided details on the future of “RHONY,” telling Variety that both a reboot and a “Legacy” project would feature all-new, diverse cast members.

The twin programme strategy, according to Cohen, 54, “takes into account everything that our devoted audience has actually been telling us over the last year,” during which time “RHONY’s” ratings fell and the Season 13 reunion was cancelled.

The new “RHONY” ensemble, which includes Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Lizzy Savetsky, Jessel Tank, and Brynn Whitfield, was revealed on Sunday night at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan during a taping of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

Cohen stated to Page Six at BravoCon that “Legacy,” which has not yet finalised its casting, was being put on hold in favour of the “RHONY” revival. Frankel “does not want to” return her apple, he did say on the press line.

When “RHONY” debuted for the first time in 2008, the Skinnygirl CEO swiftly won over viewers’ hearts.
