Sarah Jessica Parker re-created bradshaw’s wedding look — with a twist!

• The Vivienne Westwood dress Parker, 57, wears in Sex and the City, the 2008 film in which she marries Big (Chris Noth) before he cheats on her, appears to be returning for the remake.
• Although the launch of And Just Like that… season 2 has not yet been set, images from the set show that Carrie’s sense of style is just getting better.

Her character Carrie Bradshaw is seen slipping back into a very significant outfit: her wedding dress, in recent photographs from the And Just Like that… season 2 filming.

The Vivienne Westwood dress Parker, 57, wears in Sex and the City, the 2008 film in which she marries Big (Chris Noth), before he cheats on her, appears to be returning for the remake. However, there are a few minor changes this time.

The new images from November 3 show Carrie wearing the voluminous gown with more contemporary accents than she did in the film, which initially included champagne-colored heels and a dramatic veil. Teal-colored gloves, heels, and a cape complete her outfit. The bird on her head, a carryover from the original tale, is complemented by all of these elements.

When Carrie eventually utilized the bird as evidence that she was committed to getting married, the bird grew to play a significant role in the ensemble. She had no difficulty going so far as to put a bird on her head, even though Big “couldn’t get out of the car” to come to marry her. Commitment!

In the movie, best friends Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) both donned stunning floor-length gowns to help with the wedding, but the new set of photographs doesn’t show what they might be wearing for whatever the scenario is. Miranda chose a royal blue dress, while Charlotte wore a black mermaid gown. Samantha, played by Kim Cattrall (who isn’t in the reboot), sported a blazing red dress and a strong red lip to match.

Although the launch of And Just Like that… season 2 has not yet been set, images from the set show that Carrie’s sense of style is just getting better.

A flight suit that Parker accessorized with Dior gladiator shoes from the first Sex and the City movie and a small, tiny Fendi ankle baguette bag that had just been on Kim Jones’ runway last month can be seen in one shot.

The $890 JW Anderson Pigeon Clutch Bag, a departure from the Judith Leiber swan bag Carrie was renowned for carrying in Sex and the City is possibly the greatest part of this ensemble.

Carrie’s ability to put completely out-of-the-ordinary elements together in a way that looks effortlessly chic has fascinated audiences since the show’s debut in 1998. A prime example is the bare waist and belt ensemble. This grand design was taken from the boy’s outfit. Not to mention her outrageous outfit of a vintage football tee, heels, and pedal pushers.
