In the video, Emily complains, “This is the toughest decision I’ve ever had to make.” Later, she wonders how she knows she made the correct choice and acknowledges experiencing some “existential angst.”

Sylvie quips, “That’s so American.”

Of course, it’s not all work, as Emily is still involved in a passionate love triangle with dashing British Alfie and sultry chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) (Lucien Laviscount).

While Alfie and Emily are gone on a romantic holiday to the French wine area, where they take a hot air balloon flight over a château and all, Gabriel tells her on a late-night card ride, “You altered my life.”

She declares, “We often talk about work-life balance, and right now I am all about life,” before a montage of happy episodes from the show.

The tagline for the programme is “Whatever you choose, pick Paris.”

Emily in Paris, a Darren Star production, had its Netflix debut in October 2020. Since its debut, it has received numerous nominations for the Golden Globes and the Emmys.

Season 4 of the programme has already been ordered.

The choices Emily makes in season 3 will affect “her future in France,” according to a press release for the show, which debuted in June and also features Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery. It also promises that our tech-savvy heroine will continue to “immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.”

Star has revealed his willingness to delve farther into Emily’s background, hinting at what is to come.

In December 2021, he told Entertainment Tonight, “I really enjoy how Emily grows more incorporated into French culture and I love watching the evolution and transition of someone who’s made Paris their home and how that impacts them.” Except for Madeline (Kate Walsh), we haven’t really seen how Emily interacts with those she’s left behind or how living abroad for an extended period of time affects her relationship with her native country.

Netflix is presently offering Emily in Paris seasons 1 and 2.
