Mindy Kaling is clarifying that there is no cause for panic. “Swipe through many photographs of me with amazing @pijjapalace food to earn one photo of me and @ericaflener,” Mindy captioned the post from December 21 that featured a carousel of images from a night out with a friend.

But a follower pointed out in the comments that “The 43-year-old replied, “I truly think your concern is sweet. There isn’t any eating in these photographs. The problem is not with me, I assure you. But I appreciate your consideration.”

While this was going on, other followers couldn’t help but comment on how wonderful the meal appeared, with one user noting, “Another person said, “Yum! I’ve never seen someone slice a tender quite as you do. I’m also crazy about both of your sweaters. Really adorable”

Mindy has previously discussed her eating habits and general wellness. The Late Night host thought back on how motherhood had altered her lifestyle, particularly the contrast between welcoming her daughter Katherine, 4, and her son Spencer, 2.

“I had my son in the first year of the pandemic in September 2020. It was this almost extended maternity leave. I wasn’t going to be on camera, the studios were shut down,” Mindy explained to Entertainment Tonight in April. “After I had my daughter I had to shoot a movie like two months later, so I was very much like, ‘Just give me grilled salmon and sautéed spinach. I’m going to eat that for three months.'”

But once Spencer was born, Mindy included a generally healthy diet without any limits rather than concentrating on recovering quickly.

She admitted, “Honestly, I didn’t really do anything differently.” I indulge in my favourite foods. Any restrictive diet that I try never truly works for me. Just less of it, actually. I wish there was something more interesting or exciting about how I managed to lose a little weight, but that’s how I did it.
