Kevin Spacey has entered a “not guilty” plea to fresh sexual assault allegations in the UK. According to Deadline, the 63-year-old House of Cards veteran entered a “not guilty” plea to seven allegations of sexual assault against a single man in the 2000s while making an appearance by video at London’s Southwark Crown Court on Friday.

The outlet reports that a trial date has been set for June 6 — the same day Spacey will show up in court for several allegations of sexual assault in London to which he pleaded “not guilty” in July.

Last month, the actor used Zoom to make an earlier court appearance to answer the allegations. He faces a total of 12 accusations, according to Deadline, and will appear at pre-trial hearings in March and April.

The allegations, which were reportedly tied to one “adult man,” were issued by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) of the United Kingdom in November.

“The CPS has authorized additional criminal charges against Kevin Spacey, 63, for a number of sexual assaults against one man between 2001 and 2004,” the statement read.

It continued, “The CPS has also authorized one charge of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. The authority to charge follows a review of the evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police in its investigation.”

Spacey was already facing four sexual assault accusations in the United Kingdom at the time of the announcement, stemming from alleged attacks on three men between 2005 and 2008. In July, he entered a not-guilty plea to the four accusations. The first four charges will be tried in June 2023.

Spacey said in a statement to Good Morning America, “I very much appreciate the Crown Prosecution Service’s statement in which they carefully reminded the media and the public that I am entitled to a fair trial and innocent unless proven guilty.”
