Lily James recently received the honor of being the face of Charlotte Tilbury’s newest product, the Hollywood Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter. In the hilarious short film “Hollywood Darling,” which celebrates the launch, Lily spills the beans on everything from her beauty must-haves to the Hollywood man she’s always lusted after.

The 33-year-old English actress is the epitome of a glamorous screen siren with luminous skin (thanks to the new brilliant highlighter, of course, which was first seen on James on the red carpet of the British Fashion Awards on December 5), bronze smoky eyes, retro waves, and seriously sculpted cheekbones. She also has seriously sculpted cheekbones.

What is her best red carpet preparation tip? The star, though, depends on a very unexpected therapy. James advises putting your face in an ice bucket or a sink full of ice water to “just sort of tighten everything up.” After getting it under control, she “obviously just slathers on the Magic Cream,” the Charlotte Tilbury product that started her connection with the company as a brand face.

The Brigitte Bardot of a specific era is the actress that represents Hollywood beauty, according to Pam and Tommy star. She adores the legendary French actress’ appearance from the 1950s and 1960s when she always had stunning blonde hair and eyeliner.

The British beauty also draws on the past while talking about her crush on a star. “Montgomery Cliff is my everlasting Hollywood obsession; he’s just so incredibly dark, moody, and attractive… and a wonderful actor,” she exclaims. And I recently saw all these 1950s films with Ava Gardner, Liz Taylor, and Richard Burton for a role, and I just got swept away!
