For American Born Chinese, Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan will collaborate once more. The cast of Disney+’s next original series, Everything Everywhere All at Once, debuted the first teaser on Sunday.

The first scene of the video shows Yeoh, 60, flying through the air while dressed as a mythological goddess.

She announces that “dark forces will be arriving” before warning that “the fate of your world hangs in the balance.”

Another voice may be heard saying, “A gate between earth and heaven is opening.

In the trailer, one player leaps off a platform in front of a waterfall, while another character narrowly avoids being struck by staff while their opponent appears to be a replica of themselves.

Together with Stephanie Hsu, who was Stephanie Hsu’s co-star in Everything Everywhere All at Once, Quan also makes an appearance in the teaser.

As Yeoh appears to teleport herself with the sweep of her palm and defies gravity when she spins into the air during a fight, the trailer is packed with magic and action.

Some examples of magic are one character soaring through space and another using an energetic burst to attack.

A glass is also broken at one point, and the ground below them shakes as an animal-like entity smacks a staff on a football field.

One character sums it up wonderfully when they say, “That was insane,” and then shows a film of someone fending off a tiger in midair.

Based on Gene Luen Yang’s graphic novel of the same name, “A typical teen combining his family life with his high school social life is Jin Wang (Ben Wang). Even more, worlds clash when Jin meets a new foreign student on the first day of the school year because he unknowingly becomes involved in a conflict between Chinese mythological gods “according to a Disney Studios narrative summary.

Destin Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, a superhero blockbuster from Marvel scheduled for release in 2021, was directed by Daniel Cretton, who will also act as the show’s executive producer.
