Joel Madden receives some teasing posts from Hilary Duff on birthday

With a few lighthearted jokes on his Instagram Story, Hilary Duff’s husband Matthew Koma wishes her ex-boyfriend Joel Madden a happy birthday.

In honor of the significant anniversary of Madden, who dated Duff from 2004 to 2006 and has been married to Nicole Richie since 2010, Koma, 35, who married Duff in 2019, posted a few amusing pictures on social media on Saturday.

In one post, Koma included a witty message with a picture of Madden, 44, and Duff, 35, from the middle of the 2000s. The fact that you dated my wife “is not even odd; it only makes me feel closer to you,” he added.

In a subsequent post, Koma included a picture of himself and Richie, 41, with her seated on the ground and him strumming a pink guitar. Koma jokingly said in the caption, “And now feels like a good moment to inform you about me and your wife

Also, Koma published images of Madden with his eyes closed on his Instagram Stories, as well as images of the two walking their dogs and an old shot of the two with Madden’s twin brother, Benji Madden.

He also posted a picture of what looks to be a red crayon writing the words “Matt + Joel 4 Eva” in it.

Later, Madden tweeted a handful of Koma’s birthday greetings, along with the image of the two of them, and added, “We love you Matt.”

Despite the fact that “the whole world’s mind was blown for a hot second” when Koma had dinner with Madden and Richie, Duff claimed during a January episode of Watch What Happens Live that she and Madden have been close friends for a long time.

“By the way, I get along well with the entire family. I believe people were stunned. I’m not sure. We live nearby. We genuinely spend a lot of time together, “She then gave an explanation.

Duff said, “I was just in her driveway the other day, honking for her to come to drink wine with us. “She wouldn’t; by eight she was asleep.”

Madden and Richie are parents to son Sparrow, 13, and daughter Harlow, 15.

At a “date night” with Koma, Madden, and Richie in February of last year, Pete Wentz and his girlfriend Meagan Camper were also present. Josh Abraham, the founder of Pulse Music Group, and his wife Gina joined them as well.
