God of War: Ragnarok is releasing on PlayStation 5

God of War: Ragnarok is getting released on the PlayStation in 2022, announced by Sony in their PlayStation showcase.

The trailer of God of War: Ragnarok was released which shows an older Kratos and Atreus trying to survive in the frozen landscape as Ragnarok approaches and with the Norse god Thor seeking revenge against the father and son.

The landscape is changed of the original game, while also detailing some of the new areas. Along with using wolves and a sledge to traverse frozen lakes, the player would be able to take his boat to new towns, where he can interact with townsfolk.

However, there’s plenty of monsters and villains to fight, where the father and son team is capable of taking down the different threats.

Head of PlayStation Studios, Herman Hulst said, “We’ve made the decision to push that game out to next year, to ensure that Santa Monica Studio can deliver the amazing God of War game that we all want to play,”
