Dengue Virus wars continue in the country, more dengue cases have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).

According to the details, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 13 more people suffers from dengue in the last 24 hours.

The number of affected patients in the province increased to 7 thousand and 51 while dengue patients in Peshawar district started to decline.

According to the dengue response unit, four patients have been reported from Peshawar; the number of affected persons in Peshawar alone has increased to 2,680.

10 new affected patients were admitted to hospitals, while 19 hospitals are under treatment in other hospitals in KPK, dengue response unit said.

7 thousand and 32 patients have been discharged from hospitals after best medical treatment.

Earlier, the number of people affected by dengue is increasing in different cities of the country, with new cases of dengue been registered in Islamabad.

Dengue virus had been confirmed in 31 patients in the past 24 hours admitted in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), details said.

There were 35 patients undergoing treatment at the Dengue ward of PIMS while in Poly Clinic seven are under treatment.

According to hospital administration, so far 6,000 dengue-affected patients and over 8,000 patients were treated in PIMS.

More than 13,700 dengue patients had been reported in Punjab so far.
