The American doctor of Pakistani origin Saud Anwar who is fighting the war against novel coronavirus from the front, has created a ventilator that can treat 7 patients at once.

In a face book post he shared a successful simulation of how he and his team were able to use one ventilator to ventilate 7 patients.

He said using this experience and example you can potentially help far more patients if needed with limited ventilators.

He also shared the 3D printer CAD file to anyone who needs it to print their own connectors.

Earlier, United States President Donald Trump has issued an order that seeks to force General Motors to produce ventilators for coronavirus patients under the Defense Production Act.

United States President Donald Trump said negotiations with General Motors had been productive, “but our fight against the virus is too urgent to allow the give-and-take of the contracting process to continue to run its normal course.”

Trump said “GM was wasting time” and said his actions will help ensure the quick production of ventilators that will save American lives.
