A German guy vaccinated himself against Covid 90 times in order to sell counterfeit jab passes.

Passes with authentic vaccination batch numbers were being sold to persons who did not wish to get injected.

The guy, 60, from Magdeburg, is alleged to have gotten up to 90 vaccines against COVID-19 at Saxony-based clinics.

The 60-year-old, whose identity has not been disclosed due to German privacy rules, received the shots for months until police apprehended him.

He was detected after receiving two COVID-19 vaccinations in a succession at a vaccination centre in Eilenburg, Saxony.

Police took many blank cards from the 60-year-old.

He was not jailed, but according to the German news agency dpa, the guy is being investigated for issuing vaccination cards without authorization and document fraud.

It is unknown what effect the 90 doses of vaccination from various manufacturers had on the man’s personal health.

In recent months, German authorities have conducted a number of vaccination passport forgery searches.

Many people have declined to be vaccinated in Germany while also requesting COVID-19 passports.

Passports make it considerably easier to enter public locations and events such as restaurants, theatres, swimming pools, and businesses.

For weeks, high infection rates have been recorded in Germany, but many Covid precautions came to an end on Friday.

Masks are no longer required in grocery shops and most theatres, although they remain required on public transportation.

In addition, most German schools no longer compel pupils to wear masks.

Teachers’ unions have warned that this approach might lead to confrontations in the classroom.

‘There is now a possibility that, on the one hand, students who wear masks will be mocked by classmates as wimps and overprotective, or, on the other hand, pressure will be made on non-mask wearers,’ said Heinz-Peter Meidinger, head of the German Teachers’ Association.

Mr. Meidinger pushed for teachers and students to make a voluntary commitment to remain wearing masks in class and on school grounds at least until the country’s two-week Easter break.

According to health experts, the most recent outbreak of illnesses in Germany, caused by the BA.2 omicron subvariant, may have peaked.

According to the country’s disease control organisation, there were 74,053 documented cases today.

The disease control organisation recorded 111,224 daily infections less than a week ago.

In all, 130,029 COVID-19 fatalities have been reported in Germany.
