QUETTA: Despite harsh weather conditions, the polio campaign is being carried out that kicked off in Balochistan a few days back.
As per details, the polio workers have been braving the severe weather and are fulfilling their responsibilities amid snowfall. These workers have been pulling out all the stops to administer the essential two drops.
The polio team has been active in the areas of Quetta, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah and other districts.
Pertinently, Anti Polio campaign started on Monday in all 34 districts of Balochistan. All preparations have been completed for the seven-day Anti-Polio drive in Balochistan.
Government and Emergency operation Centre Balochistan commenced a seven-day Anti-Polio campaign in Balochistan, in which around 2.5 million children of up to five years would be administered polio drops.
At least 8,998 Mobile teams, 948 fixed and 574 transit teams have been deployed in the whole province to make sure that all children are administered with polio drops.
