Indian politician and head of Akhil Bharatiya Gau Sewa Sangh, an organization associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Shankar Lal has claimed that cow dung will protect the Indians from radiation if Pakistan attacks India.

Describing how to avoid radiation, Shankar Lal said that NASA advised that if  cow dung will put in the ground with leaves placed on it about one and a half feet high, humans would be safe from an atomic bomb’s radiation because it would absorb the radiation.

Shankar Lal also said that NASA has done this research and it can be seen on Google.

Director General of Inter Service Public Relation (DGISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, reacted to this ludicrous Indian politician’s claim on social networking site Twitter with  sarcasm and said “here it comes. Scientifically proven.”

No offence to religion which remains respectable, DGISPR added.

Previously so many times Indian politicians have made these kind of bizarre claims to achieve cheap publicity.

Bharatiya Janata Party BJP MLA from Bhopal Sadhvi Pragya claimed that a mixture of cow urine and other cow products cured her cancer.

In April this year, Indian scientists claimed to have made cow urine derived fire crackers available on the market, and in 2016, an Indian Hindu priest claimed to have got gold from a cow urine.

In 2016, Shankar Lal said that eating cow dung and urine paste will help pregnant women to ensure a normal delivery.
