Syrian President Bashar-ul-Asaad’s demand for withdrawal of foreign forces and stopping operations against Kurdish forces in Syria has come out.

Bashar-ul-Asaad met with a Russian delegation led by Russia’s special envoy on Syria Alexandar Lavrentiev in Damascus on Friday. In this meeting, Syrian President Bashar-ul-Asaad said that efforts must be made for the termination of ‘peace spring’ operation and the withdrawal of all the foreign forces from Syria. They have been considered as occupying forces in Syria under international conventions.

He further said regarding Syrian people that they deserve resistance from all kinds of sources.

Syrian president Bashar-ul-Asaad had mentioned that they will respond appropriately to the Turkish forces’ operations against the Kurdish groups in the Damascus region. Fake slogans can be raised for Turkey’s aggression, this is an aggressive attack and is an offense.

Bashar-ul-Asaad further said that Syria has targeted Turk-backed terrorists in various places. We will fight against Turkish troops anywhere in Syria through legal resources. He had also said that Damascus will respond to the operations by Turk forces and Takfiri militant groups in the region.

It should be remembered that the U.S. went to Turkey for an agreement to stop militant operations over Kurdish groups in northern Syria.

The U.S. vice president Mike Pence had announced after meeting Tayyip Erdogan that Turkey will hold a ceasefire till 5 days during which Kurd citizens will be given withdrawal from northern Syria. After this, Turkey will have the right to make Turkey’s area a complete buffer zone.
