Several protestors protested for a third night in Minneapolis as they demanded justice for George and an end to police violence.
Protestors kept saying, “Say his name. George Floyd,” “I can’t breathe”
On the other hand, US President Donald Trump accused Thursday’s violence on a “lack of leadership” in Minneapolis. He threatened that if Mayor Jacob Frey failed to control the situation, he would send the National Guard and “get the job done right”
The White House press secretary earlier said that Trump “was very upset” over the tragic death, saying, “He wants justice to be served.”
….These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!
