Coronavirus cases have crossed the 1 million mark in India whereas the death toll crossed 25,000.

The Health Ministry has confirmed more than 34,000 new infections in the last 24 hours.

According to details, India has reported 1,005,637 confirmed cases of coronavirus out of which 25, 609 patients died whereas 636,602 have recovered. The number of active cases is 343,426.

Brazil has reported more than 2 million confirmed Covid-19 cases. Less than a month ago, the country reported 1 million cases. It is the second-worst affected country in the world after the US.

More than 74,000 people have died in Brazil due to coronavirus.
