You Can Convert Your Foreign Driving Licence Into A UAE One
Those who have a foreign license and are on the list of accredited countries need driving licenses to be translated into Arabic. The fees for the conversion are Dh410 in Dubai and Dh380 in Abu Dhabi (the latter includes eye test fees).
And those whose driving licenses are not from accredited countries are given one chance to undergo a knowledge test and road test and if they pass on the first, they will receive a UAE license. If they fail, however, they will have to undergo at least eight lessons (advanced level training) at a driving school and then come back for the test.
