DESPERATE As they quail in the face of British anti-tank missiles in Ukraine, Russians are building ‘Mad Max’-style vehicles with bolted on makeshift armour.

Images from around the war-torn country appear to show Putin’s monsters modifying their vehicles to protect themselves as they advance in their brutal invasion.

However, the changes, which appear like they came right out of the blockbuster dystopian thriller Mad Max, differ significantly.

A massive bolted-on armour plate covers the windscreen in one view, which appears to be a troop transport.

Only two slits remain after the shoddy DIY repair, allowing the driver to see where they’re going.

In a similar effort to defend themselves, there appears to be makeshift armour covering both side windows and doors.

Another image depicts a sunk military ship with highly worn corrugated panelling that wouldn’t appear out of place on the top of a chicken coop.

One truck in particular demonstrates how a desperate group of troops resorted to putting wooden planks together to defend themselves.

The logs are of various lengths and poke out the sides of the truck, indicating that the DIY effort was bungled.

Another shot depicts a hulking Russian invader beaming in front of another extensively modified rusted Russian army rust bucket.

Bolted-on panels that resemble jumbled-together scrap metal appear to cover the whole car from front to back, leaving no visible gaps.

Even an armoured awning looks to have been cobbled together to guard against aircraft strikes.

The trucks resemble the vehicles used by the Jihadist terror group ISIS as they rampaged over the Middle East.

The terrible warriors fastened poor metal plate on automobiles and people carriers in Syria and Iraq at the height of their horror.

The strange alterations follow photos from February showing Russian vehicles with their flak jackets dangling out the windows.

According to CNN’s Frederik Pleitgen, this might be a botched attempt to protect soldiers from Ukrainian sniper fire.

TERRIFIED

The hasty changes might be a reaction to the British-supplied anti-tank missile systems that have wreaked havoc on the invading Russian soldiers.

According to reports, the UK has deployed over 10,000 anti-tank NLAW weaponry to Ukraine to assist in the country’s defence against Vladimir Putin.

Ukrainian military have praised the “wonderful” British supplies and expressed gratitude to the Queen for the “gifts.”

They’ve even requested that more “toys” be supplied.

The British Starstreak high-velocity missile weapon has also been sighted terrorising Russian soldiers.

In remarkable displays of Western dominance over the ill-equipped Russian army, movies show the system shooting Russian helicopters out of the sky.

The photographs come as Kremlin troops are said to have been underequipped, under-resourced, faced malnutrition, and even had their trucks run out of petrol during the fight.

Pictures also show Russian forces using widely accessible, unencrypted walkie talkies, among a slew of other eye-opening disclosures about the equipment used by Putin’s butchers.

These few examples raise major doubts about Putin’s military prowess, which he constantly touts as one of the world’s best.
