Putin’s devastation as Russia’s largest chemical facility goes up in flames on the same day, killing seven people

On Thursday afternoon, smoke could be seen billowing from the Dmitrievsky Chemical Plant, which is located close the Ukrainian border. The Kineshma plant, located east of Moscow, manufactures the majority of Russia’s industrial solvents.

Putin opponent and Russian racecar driver Igor Sushko tweeted: “This is the largest chemical solvent manufacturer in Russia.

“It’s around 250 kilometres to the east of Moscow.

“We’re beginning to notice a trend.”

This incident comes after a fire in a Russian Ministry of Defense facility in Tver that claimed the lives of seven individuals.

The roof fell at the plant west of Moscow, injuring 25 people.

Several military scientists leaped from the space and weapons institute’s windows.

The emission of chemicals as a result of the fire is yet unknown.

Neither fire’s cause has been determined.

According to TASS, the Russian state news service, 13 people were hospitalised as a result of the fire in Tver.

“Practically in all the windows were individuals asking for aid,” a source told the agency.

Firefighters’ operations were “hampered” by “extremely heavy smoke” and “high temperatures,” according to emergency services on the site west of Moscow.

The individuals who were transported to the hospital had injuries of “different severity,” according to the Tver hospital.
