Russia is preparing a military offensive in eastern Ukraine

As it focuses its combat operations in eastern Ukraine, Russia is establishing a ‘shaping operation’ in preparation for a massive ground invasion, according to a senior US defense official. Officials warn that it is still unclear when Moscow would unleash ‘D-Day’ in Ukraine.

In recent days, Russian officials have continued to accuse the US of running a biological weapons programmed in Ukraine, prompting suspicions that they are aiming to establish a pretext to use their own WMD in the nation.

The fears arise after Russia’s Ministry of Defense released a list of names of Americans and European Union citizens whom Krlemin claims were involved in a biological weapons programmed in Ukraine, according to Russian media. The country’s Chief of Russia’s Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Defense Forces, Lt. Gen. Kirillov, has made similar accusations.

According to Russian media, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has accused the US and its allies of waging a “complete hybrid war” against Russia, which he claims is aimed at cutting off the globe from Russian information.

“Russia is ramping up its disinformation effort against the United States, using allegations of supposed WMD programmed in Ukraine as a possible basis for conducting WMD warfare in Ukraine,” Koffler told Fox News on Thursday. “Fearful of Sweden and Finland’s future NATO membership ambitions, Putin is pondering catastrophic actions in the final and ‘hottest’ phase of Russia’s war on Ukraine.”
