Vice President Kamala Harris tested positive for COVID on Tuesday.

Kirsten Allen, press secretary stated that Harris wasn’t exhibiting any symptoms.

Since White House press secretary Jen Psaki tested positive for the virus in March, Harris, 57, is the highest-ranking Biden administration official to test positive for the illness.

Allen stated, “Today, Vice President Harris tested positive for COVID-19 on rapid and PCR tests.”

“She has exhibited no symptoms, will isolate and continue to work from the Vice President’s residence,” she added.

The statement added that Harris has not been in close contact to the President or First Lady due to their busy schedules.

She will follow CDC guidelines, and once she recovers from the illness, she’ll return to the White House.

Vice President is fully vaccinated and she has received two booster shots, recently.
