Wife who was caught on camera ‘forcing her Russian military husband to rape Ukrainian women,’ as it turns out he was injured in battle
The wife of a Russian soldier who was videotaped giving her husband permission to rape Ukrainian women during Vladimir Putin’s invasion has been photographed, as it has revealed that the guy has been injured in the combat.
Earlier this week, Kyiv’s security forces published an audio recording of a discussion between a couple, named by Radio Liberty as Roman Bykovsky and his wife Olga Bykovskaya.
The lady, apparently Bykovskaya, is heard telling the man on the audio that he has her permission to rape Ukrainian women while fighting with Russia’s invading forces, as long as he doesn’t notify her and uses contraception.
The disturbing 30-second video was posted on April 12 as Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, accused Russian forces of carrying out “hundreds of rapes” in his nation, including sexual attacks on tiny children.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) posted an audio tape with the caption ‘SECURITY SERVICE INTERCEPT: Wives of Russian invaders enable their men to rape Ukrainian women.’
The voice of a lady, believed to be Olga Bykovskaya, can then be heard saying, ‘So sure, do it over there,’ It is then evident what she is consenting to. There are Ukrainian ladies there. Assassinate them. Yeah.
‘Don’t tell me anything, understand,’ she says shyly.
Then a man’s voice is heard, which is thought to be Roman Bykovsky’s. ‘Uh-huh,’ he admits. ‘So I should rape without telling you anything?’ he says, indicating that the woman had given him permission.
‘Yes, so I wouldn’t know anything,’ the woman answers, before they both burst out laughing this time. ‘Why do you inquire?’ she says.
‘Can I really?’ he asks one again.
‘Yeah, I allow you,’ she adds, laughing. ‘Just use safety,’ she says.
‘OK,’ says the man again.
Radio Liberty investigative journalists collaborated with Ukrainian law enforcement to track the phone engaged in the call, with one of the numbers being tracked to the Kherson area in April.
The detectives discovered that the two phone numbers were linked to two profiles on Russia’s VKontakte social network, both of which belonged to 27-year-old Roman Bykovsky and his wife Olga Bykovskaya, both of whom were born in Orel, Russia.
Although Roman’s account was blocked to the public, journalists discovered him via images shared by one of his pals, Alexei Zabrusov, which revealed that they fought together in the same army division in 2016.
From there, the investigators were able to locate more of Roman’s friends and family members, which led them to more pictures of him in military uniform, establishing that he is now a member of Russia’s 108th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment – a unit known for its role in the 2014 annexation of Crimea.
