The previous Ukrainian president was kept from passing on Ukraine to partake in a gathering of a NATO body in Lithuania, his party’s parliamentary group has said.

Petro Poroshenko was halted two times at a line crossing with Poland while on the way to a gathering of NATO’s parliamentary get-together, where he was to meet the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda, the European Solidarity said.

In an explanation, the parliamentary gathering said: “Poroshenko had gotten every one of the conventional consents to leave the nation and had been remembered for the authority designation of the Parliament of Ukraine for this occasion.”

Ukrainian media revealed that Mr. Poroshenko couldn’t cross the line because of “specialized issues” with a grant permitting him to leave the country.

In January, Mr. Poroshenko won a court administration permitting him to stay in freedom while being explored for conspiracy in a test he says was a politically propelled assault connected to partners of his replacement, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The previous president is being researched regarding the supporting of Russian-moved separatists in the east of the country through unlawful coal deals in 2014-15.
