BOGOTA: At least five people were killed and dozens more were injured on Sunday when the stands collapsed during a Corralejo, or bullfighting event, in the Tolima Department of Colombia, according to local authorities.
Police say that after the Gilberto Charry Bullring in the town of Espinal fell down, a bull attacked several people.

Although other local hospitals have deployed ambulances to transport some of the injured, the majority of the injured were transported to the adjacent San Rafael Hospital, which has become overcrowded.
“We will request an investigation into the events. (We wish) a speedy recovery for the injured and (send our) solidarity to the families of the victims,” President of Colombia Ivan Duque tweets.
