The majority of the 144 Ukrainian defenders that the Russian invaders released after a massive prisoner exchange are gravely hurt.

In a Facebook post, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense’s Main Intelligence Directorate stated,

“As many as 144 defenders of Ukraine were released from captivity. Most of them were seriously injured. Immediately after the release, all our heroes received medical aid and proper care,” the statement said.

Additionally, it stated that all Ukrainian prisoners of war are still being sought after by Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
