The Guardian claimed, citing a statement from Russia’s National Guard that Moscow accuses the son of a Conservative MP in the UK of being involved in the shooting of a Chechen brigade commander in Ukraine.
One of its commanders, Adam Bisultanov, a Chechen, was murdered on May 26 in a confrontation with a “party of mercenaries from the UK and the USA,” according to the statement. It included the “son of a British lawmaker,” Ben Grant.

This came after footage of Ben Grant, a British national, fighting in the country surfaced. Helen Grant, a member of Parliament, is his father.
