KYIV: Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated on Friday that the country has entered the first stage of its post-conflict reconstruction, according to the government’s press agency.

The Ukrainian authorities will examine the losses caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict in the first stage of recovery, produce technical paperwork for restoration projects, and repair vital facilities, Shmyhal stated at a cabinet meeting.

“The government’s task is to restore most of the damaged critical facilities by the autumn,” he added.

As per Ukravtodor, Ukraine’s state road organisation, the battle has destroyed around 300 bridges and 24,000 kilometres of roads.
