UN Security Council will meet again
- The United Nations Security Council will have another briefing on Ukraine’s situation on Monday, June 6.
- According to the UNSC secretariat, “the open Security Council briefing will focus on the war’s effects on women, especially the heightened dangers of conflict-related sexual violence and trafficking.
- The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, is also anticipated to attend.

Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict Pramila Patten, as well as civil society leaders from Ukraine and the United States, are expected to give briefings. The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, is also anticipated to attend.
The Ukrainian delegation has been asked to attend the briefing. Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, will speak at the briefing, which will begin at 17:00 Kyiv time.
