There were no weapons present when a father and his young boy were discovered dead outside of a car close to a high school.
On Tuesday night in a Los Angeles neighbourhood, police discovered the bodies of 10-year-old Michael Romo Sandoval and 35-year-old Romo Guerra.
At roughly 8.20 p.m. on Tuesday, Los Angeles police went to the scene.
According to Fox News, the two were discovered outside a car that was parked close to William Tell Aggeler High School.
The bodies were ultimately recognised as those of Romo Guerra and his 10-year-old son Michael Romo Sandoval by the Los Angeles coroner’s office.
The two were discovered in the neighbourhood next to the automobile, contrary to contradicting claims that they were locked inside and needed to be rescued, LAPD Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton explained to Fox News.
On the spot, Hamilton claimed, they were pronounced dead.
A murder-suicide is a “working notion,” according to Hamilton, although the circumstances of the death are yet unknown.
Additionally, no weapons were found at the location.
A GoFundMe has been set up on behalf of the families.
“We ask for any help you can provide and any prayers you can send.”
This case is still under investigation.
