Thousands of protesters took to the streets to voice their opposition to the mistreatment of Palestinians in Gaza as Israel increased the frequency of its bombings on the besieged region in downtown Dallas, Texas.

Men, women, and children among the demonstrators requested a ceasefire to protect Gazan people and denounced Israel for war crimes.

Human rights organizations, local Muslims, and residents of the US state gathered in the state’s thriving business sector to demonstrate against the genocide being carried out by the administration lead by Benjamin Netanyahu.

Men, women, and children marched from Dallas City Hall and participated in the rally to raise awareness against the ongoing genocide against the Gazan people. The protest attracted a sizable crowd.

Human rights organization leaders spoke to the gathering during the demonstration, highlighting the terrible circumstances in Palestine.

Additionally, they voiced worries about the international community’s silence—including that of the United States—as Israeli forces persisted in carrying out crimes against humanity while ignoring international humanitarian law.

They discussed the war crimes committed by Israel, such as its bombings of hospitals that resulted in the deaths and injuries of innocent Palestinian citizens and prevented enough aid from crossing the Rafah border into Gaza.

A number of activists recorded their protest with their voices raised in outrage and their voices filled with Palestinian chants. Leaders from Kashmir also took part in the nearly four-hour-long demonstration.

According to the most recent toll from the Gaza health ministry, approximately 5,000 Palestinians—mostly civilians—and over 2,000 children have perished throughout the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli bombardment that followed Hamas’s resistance movement against Israel starting on October 7.

Around a million people are thought to have been evacuated from the besieged area, where thousands of buildings have been destroyed. The number of casualties is expected to rise daily as some individuals are still buried beneath the debris all around the city.
