According to media reports, the possibility of a further increase in the overall 6-day ceasefire is being shown, and talks are also going on in this regard.
Qartari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Majid bin Mohammad Al-Ansari said in a weekly briefing that Qatar is working hard and struggling on the mediation framework to extend the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 20 Israelis will be released in the next 48 hours, of which 10 will be released on a daily basis.
Earlier, In a significant development, Israel and Hamas have agreed to a four-day ceasefire, signaling hope for an end to the seven-week war in Gaza.
The truce, set to begin at 10 a.m. local time on Thursday, aims to facilitate the release of dozens of hostages held by militants, as well as Palestinians imprisoned by Israel.
