Saudi Arabia has announced a significant expansion of its Educational Visa Program, led by Dr. Sami Al-Haysoni, the program’s head, in a groundbreaking move. With an existing enrollment of 70,000 international students, the program aims to provide extensive opportunities for long-term academic pursuits and part-time employment.

Dr. Al-Haysoni emphasized that this initiative is in line with the Vision 2030 objectives, focusing on enhancing qualifications and boosting the global competitiveness of Saudi universities.

The Educational Visa program offers both long and short-term options. The one-year long-term visa caters to students interested in comprehensive academic research and visits to Saudi Arabia.

Conversely, the renewable six-month short-term visa is designed for various educational purposes.

Applicants can easily explore the myriad of educational programs and universities through the user-friendly “Study in Saudi” portal. The collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Visa Service and the portal has streamlined the visa application process, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
