ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered the release of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry on bail.
Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri heard the bail petition of Fawad Chaudhry, in which lawyer Qaiser Imam appeared in the court on behalf of the former minister.
Later, the court granted Fawad Chaudhry's bail after the arguments of the lawyers were completed and ordered his release.
On the bail of Fawad Chaudhry, his brother Faisal Chaudhry said that it is feared that Fawad Chaudhry will be arrested in another false case, it is expected that the courts will protect him from illegal arrest.
It should be noted that Fawad Chaudhry is imprisoned in Adiala Jail on judicial remand in National Accountability Bureau(NAB) case related to land in Jhelum.

Earlier, Islamabad High Court (IHC) suspended the sentence of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi’s sentences in the Toshakhana case and ordered them to be released on bail.
A two-member bench headed by Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq heard PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi’s request for suspension of sentence in the Toshakhana case, in which Imran Khan’s barrister Ali Zafar argued.
