Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi telephoned his Saudi counterpart FM Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Saturday.

According to the details, both the dignitaries have reaffirmed the resolve to further strengthen the bilateral multidimensional relations.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed gratitude to Prince Faisal bin Farhan over extending unflinching and vigorous support to the Pakistan’s narrative on the Kashmir issue.

Pakistan and Kingdom Saudi Arabia  have agreed to continue bilateral consultation over the important regional issues including Occupied Kashmir.

FM and Prince Faisal also exchanged views on working together to advance the Kashmir cause especially from the OIC platform.

Earlier, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Pakistan, Gen Nadeem Raza  has called on Saudi King Salman in Riyadh.

Both the dignitaries have  reviewed the close relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation, especially in the military field during the meeting in Riyadh.

They have also reviewed prospects of military cooperation and ways to support and enhance them,” Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. Furthermore, matters of mutual interest were also discussed.

CJCSC General Nadeem Raza also met with Saudi Chief of General Staff Gen. Fayyadh bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili.

During the meeting Senior military officials from the two countries were are also present and delegation level talks held between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
