Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Indian actions threaten peace in the region.
According to the details, FM addressed to a ceremony which was held on the eve of first anniversary of ‘Pakistan’s Responsible and Resolute Response to Indian Aggression of 26th February 2019’.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Indian actions on August 5, 2019 in occupied Kashmir are illegal.
He said the US President has discussed Kashmir issue with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as promised with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Foreign Minister said the US President categorically stated in presence of a big public gathering that Imran Khan is his friend and Pakistan has defeated terrorism pursuing the best strategy.
He said the Indian media tried to use President Trump’s press conference for its own objectives but the US President appreciated Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan has been stating for a long time that Muslims have been facing insecurity in India.
Earlier, A meeting, chaired by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad today, decided to apprise the world about better peace and stability in the country under a multi-faceted media strategy.
It also decided to highlight Pakistan’s positive role in the region and the world.
Speaking on the occasion, the Foreign Minister said the world should be informed about the better opportunities emerging in the diplomatic, political, economic and tourist perspectives.
