Karachi receives hot weather, northern areas receive rain today

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab and Kashmir today.

Karachi receives hot weather today. The maximum temperature recorded today was 36degrees Celsius whereas humidity in the air remains 78%.

A shallow westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected at Isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir on Tuesday, according to PMD.

Rain occurred in districts of Punjab, Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the last 24 hours. Weather remained dry elsewhere in the country.
