Violations of ceasefire by the Indian Army on the Line of Control (LoC) continue.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces violated the ceasefire on the LoC and targeted the civilian population in the Khoi Ratta sector.
The ISP spokesperson further said that a civilian was seriously injured in the unprovoked firing of Indian forces on the LOC in Jajut village and the injured have been shifted to a nearby medical center for the treatment.
It may be recalled that Indian forces had violated the ceasefire on the LoC by firing indiscriminately on Lepa Valley and Kayani Sector, killing Imtiaz Ali, a youth from Pabi village in Nowshera district. A woman was seriously injured in an unprovoked firing by the Indian army in Chari Kot sector of the Line of Control.
The official tweet of ISPR also said, “Indian Army troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Khuiratta Sector along #LOC. Due to indiscriminate fire of automatics at a house in Jijot village, an innocent citizen sustained serious injuries. Injured evacuated to nearby health facility for medical care.”

Earlier this month, a 45-year-old local man was seriously injured when Indian forces opened fire on him in the Satwal sector.
It may be recalled that on December 26 last year, two young men of the Pakistan Army were martyred due to Indian provocation on the Line of Control, while in retaliation, the Pakistan Army killed three Indian soldiers.
