Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member national assembly and  Chairman Standing Committee on Law and Justice Riaz Fatyana said that cinemas should be allowed to open by following SOPs.

According to the details, Riaz Fatyana said that Safe entertainment is essential for the people who are suffering from mental and psychological stress due the ongoing pandemic situation.

He further said that UAE allowed cinemas to reopen as millions of people employing in cinemas

Safety measures can be better enforced in cinema halls. Cheap entertainment should be provided to the people by allowing cinemas, said Riaz Fatyana.

Earlier today,  Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has confirmed 699 new coronavirus cases, taking the provincial tally to 24,206.

Sindh Chief Minister said six more people lost their lives to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total deaths to 380. The chief minister said that 235 patients are in critical condition while 42 are on ventilators. The number of recovered people has risen to 9,270, he added. 2177 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. So far 163805 tests have been conducted.  The number of Coronavirus cases in Sindh has reached 24,206.

Murad Ali Shah added that The death toll from Coronavirus has risen to 380 in the province. The condition of 235 patients is critical. 42 patients are currently on ventilators. Currently, 14556 patients are undergoing treatment. There are 12,836 patients in homes, 793 in isolation centers. 927 patients are being treated in other hospitals of the province.

Out of 699 new cases in the province, 559 are from Karachi. That includes Central District 125, District East 174, Malir 33, District South 99, District West 78, Korangi 50 Ghotki 24, Sukkur 11, Larkana 10, Mirpur Khas 7, Jacobabad 6, Badin 6, Hyderabad 5, Jamshoro 3, Shikarpur 4, Khairpur and Thatta 2, 2, and one case was reported from Dadu, Qambar, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Tando Muhammad Khan.

Today, 755 patients recovered and returned home, said Chief Minister Sindh. The number of recoveries has risen to 9,270. Murad Ali Shah urged the public to take precautionary measures. He added that Your cooperation is the guarantee of salvation from Coronavirus.
