Domestic flights resumed in Saudi Arabia, 11 airports opened.

According to the details, domestic flights have been resumed at 11 airports in Saudi Arabia after two months and security measures related to Coronavirus will be followed during air travel.

The sources said, before the flight, passengers will have to follow the instructions in the special instruction manual to ensure implementation of precautionary measures

Initially, about 100 flights will be operated and during the journey, fee masks, social distance and other precautions will have to be implemented.

Passengers will not be allowed to say goodbye or greet at the airport.

One seat will be left empty under the principle of social distance in aircraft.

All passengers will be required to wear masks and gloves, have their hands sanitized and have their temperature checked.

The Civil Aviation Department has instructed passengers to arrive at the airport no more than 2 hours before the flight.

It should be noted that since March 21, domestic flights in Saudi Arabia have been banned due to COVID-19 as a precautionary measure, which have now been reopened.

Airline staff, like passengers, will be obliged to purify their hands and wear masks and gloves. Meanwhile, airports will be washed every three hours, and planes will be disinfected after each flight.
