The government of Saudi Arabia has announced relief for foreigners, including Pakistanis.

According to Arab media, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi ruler and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has extended the residency of people from Pakistan and other countries for three months.

Officials in Saudi Arabia say foreigners’ residences have been renewed online for the next three months free of charge, with the facility designed to protect against the coronavirus.

According to Arab media, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, has approved the waiver of residence permit card (Iqama)  for the families of foreigners, whose stay has expired.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz says that it has been decided to not receive one month’s fee for foreigners who have ended their stay, while another month’s fee can be waived as required and all decisions have been made in view of the Coronavirus crisis.
