The Saudi government has announced another big relief for foreigners.

According to Arab media, the Saudi King and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, has approved the waiver of residence permit card (Iqama)  for the families of foreigners, whose stay has expired.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz says that it has been decided to not receive one month’s fee for foreigners who have ended their stay, while another month’s fee can be waived as required and all decisions have been made in view of the Coronavirus crisis.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, King Salman bin Abdulaziz has also approved the expansion of financial support to the sectors, institutions and individuals affected by the Corona crisis.

Earlier, Saudi Consul General H.E. Bandar Fahad AlDayel and General Manager Sabic Pakistan Saleh Ali AlZahrani presented cheques to the management of two major hospitals in Karachi.

The donation was given as part of Sabic Pakistan’s corporate social responsibility to help combat the COVID-19.
