Shahid Iqbal Chaudhry, Chief Executive Officer of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced that uninterrupted power supply will be provided throughout the region during Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
According to details, CEO of the company, Shahid Iqbal Chaudhry while talking about loadshedding in a statement said that power transmission from more than 1100 feeders, 103 grid stations will be monitored, complaints will be lodged in more than 126 complaint offices. Staff will be on 24-hour alert for immediate recovery.
He said that additional meters, cables and transformers have been provided to the field offices.
The CEO has appealed to the public not to throw the remains of sacrificial animals near electrical installations.
Earlier, In his message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, President Dr. Arif Alvi said that crowds should be avoided in the bazaars and cattle markets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
President Arif Alvi said that for Eid-ul-Adha, there are the same SOPs which were on the last Eid. The elders are requested to offer Eid prayers at home as I will also offer Eid prayers at home. But if you are careful, you will be safe from the grace and discipline of Allah Almighty.
