Chief Minister of Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has said that we have to work with strong national determination to eradicate the deadly disease like polio.

According to details, at the launch of the special anti-polio campaign, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan said in a message that a healthy future of the province could be ensured by making the polio campaign a success.

Jam Kamal Khan said that the success of the polio campaign is not possible without the cooperation of parents and civil society, adding that the increase in polio cases in the last few months is a matter of concern.

The Chief Minister Balochistan also said that all the concerned agencies have to review their shortcomings and weaknesses and rectify them.

Jam Kamal Khan said that during the polio campaign, the services of influential sections of the society, political and tribal elders should also be sought while the access of polio teams to all areas and to every child should be ensured.

The Chief Minister of Balochistan also said that only by defeating polio we can give a safe and healthy future to our children.

Jam Kamal Khan said that parents should understand the importance of two drops of polio for their children and appreciated the cooperation of UNICEF, World Health Organization and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for the eradication of polio.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan further said that the targets set for the polio campaign should be ensured while the district administration should provide all possible facilities and protection to the polio teams.
