Trade activities were resumed at Angoor Ada, an important trade centre between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Hundreds of trucks full of goods started coming to Pakistan from Afghanistan every day.

Coronavirus had stifled trade here. Now the Angoor Ada has once again been opened for commercial activities but this time with better facilities.

A walk-through gate has also been set up at the border, from where every vehicle coming from Afghanistan is sprayed to prevent coronavirus. Only after spraying the vehicle can enter Pakistan.

According to border officials, 100 vehicles are currently allowed to cross the border. but the number will be increased.
