Maryam further stressed that things that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah wished for to be in the newly-independent country are not being implemented.
“Did Quaid-e-Azam’s instructions follow? Are public representatives allowed to make policies? Has interference in politics stopped? Was the constitution respected?”
She further added,
“Quaid-e-Azam’s spirit must be watching that his teachings were reduced to dust.”
Talking about Balochistan, Maryam said,
“Balochistan is in this situation, the only reason is that your vote did not get respect,” she added, “now the sun of people’s sovereignty is about to rise.”
To put stress on Prime Minister Imran Khan, Maryam demanded his and his advisor’s resignation as soon as possible.
“Imran Khan and his selectors should resign over the historic failure.”
The Pakistan Democratic Movement Quetta Jalsa is staged at Ayub Stadium in Quetta today, to put pressure on Imran Khan’s government.
