Well-known social media personality and reality show host Waqar Zaka has praised the Government’s decision to restore Chinese social media application Tik Tok in Pakistan.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Waqar Zaka, who has shown the power of an influencer and the one who has utilized each and every bit of it, wrote:
“Good decision by @PTAofficialpk TIKTOK is unbanned but new rules of taking action/arresting tiktokers posting immoral cringe content are launched, anyone posting immoral content will be taken down, all credit goes to @PTAofficialpk, No one else should try to take credit for unban.”

Waqar in his tweet also clarified that anyone posting immoral content will undergo strict action by the authorities.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has restored the Chinese social media application Tik Tok in Pakistan.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority in its official Twitter handle wrote:
TikTok is being unlocked after assurance from management that they will block all accounts repeatedly involved in spreading obscenity and immorality. TikTok will moderate the account in accordance with local laws.

The management of Tik Tok assured that they will moderate the account in accordance with local laws.
Earlier In an official statement, a spokesperson from Tik Tok has shared that if the Government of Pakistan decides to reopen access to its services, the Chinese video-sharing social networking service will certainly assess the allocation of resources to the Pakistan market.
“Over the past year, we’ve made concerted efforts to address questions from the Government of Pakistan around our content moderation process, including significantly increasing the capacity of our local language content moderation team,” said the spokesperson of Tik Tok.
