This brain teaser is a bit tricky and you will have to think a lot.

A person left his campsite and hiked south for 3 miles. Then, he turned east and hiked for 3 miles. After that, he turned north and hiked for 3 miles. At which point did he come upon a bear inside his tent eating his food?

Can you also tell what color was the bear?

Answer to this brain teaser: The color of the bear is white. The only place he can hike 3 miles south, then 3 miles east, and north for 3 miles, and ending up back at the starting point is the North Pole.

The bear is white. It is possible because the polar bears are the only bears that live at the North Pole.
